40 Acres Fest (FAF) is an annual festival at the University of Texas @ Austin drawing 10,000-20,000 people in attendance each year. Student organizations (175 in 2006) setup a variety of booths with activities such as: jalape�o eating contests, obstacle courses, kissing booths, limbo contests, and even water gun assassins for hire. In addition to amazing organizations, FAF features live music all day long from Austin's hottest local bands performances from of UT's most talented students. What started as a small event with about 500 people in attendance has now grown to be the largest student-run event in the nation.
